Walmart is offering a new Bio-Friendly bag option for the company’s new Walmart Supercenter stores.
The Bio-friendly bag can hold up to a total of $100,000 in merchandise and supplies, according to the Walmart site.
Walmart has said it is interested in the Bio-Packed product line, which it acquired in 2013 for $3 billion.
The Walmart Bio-Pack is expected to be available starting March 15, 2017, with a price of $150, which is about $7,500 more than the Bio Friendly bag.
Walmart’s bio-friendliness has been a hot topic in recent years as shoppers are looking for environmentally friendly products and more affordable alternatives to traditional grocery store staples.
In May, Walmart said it was rolling out its new bio-packs, which are now in more than 100 stores, to address the concerns of consumers and retailers about the use of plastic in grocery bags.
